Nestled in the leafy suburb of Mosman Park, Love Story is a small luxury boutique occupying an old shop lot. Atelier W worked closely with the owner who has good taste, exacting standards and a strong knowledge in art and design, and who takes regular buying trips to Europe. The design intent was to provide a versatile setting for the display of luxury-casual women apparel, accessories and homeware.

 

Inspiration was drawn from the existing black steel garment rails against the light-filled space and washed timber floors. Atelier W kept to this simple palette, with a series of bespoke solid oak shelves, black steel frames, and elegant oak boxes carefully placed throughout the display area. Varied visual merchandise compositions are possible using these bespoke display elements.
